Paleontologists have discovered that sauropod dinosaurs, the largest animals to walk the Earth, replaced their teeth drastically different from other herbivores, according to a new study. Researchers from the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County's Dinosaur Institute replaced their 'simple teeth' quickly and the more complex teeth were replaced at a slower rate.  Unlike carnivores or ornithischians, which had complex teeth similar to modern-day herbivores, sauropods had extremely simple teeth.
